According to Bart Lateur: > > I can't make the combination MacPerl + BBEdit Lite work for me. I can > use the menu in MacPerl to edit a script, but then I'm stuck. There's no > way I get the edited changes back into MacPerl (other than copy / > paste). You are going about it backwards. :-) Bring up MacPerl. Then bring up BBEDit. Edit the program using BBEdit. There are a set of plug-ins for BBEdit which will move the program over to MacPerl, run it, and return the output back to you. However, according to others, you should be able to just jump from MacPerl to BBEdit. I've never tried it nor do I do it since it never worked for me either. :-) The thing I do not understand is why the plug-in can't boot MacPerl. The guy who wrote the BBEdit plug-in for Chipmunk Basic can boot CB up before he moves the source over and runs it. So there has to be a way to do this for MacPerl. ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
