[MacPerl] MacPerl and GUI's?


Is there any way to write a perl program with a GUI for the mac?

Or barring that, is there some way I could call local CGI's from a browser
on a mac that isn't connected to the net or running a web server?  (I tried
MacHTTP already, it dies horribly if there's no network connection.)
