We store all of our production MacPerl droplets on our NT server, which has all NTFS partitions and is running Services for Macintosh. We drag and drop files onto the droplets, and every now and then NT or the Mac won't recognize the droplets as droplets. If I open the droplet and save it again then it works fine. I realize this is most probably a Mac desktop issue on the NTFS partition, and so probably just a problem with NT's Mac support, but it happens often enough that i was curious if other people run into this as well, and if anyone else had any other theories or solutions. This doesn't happen to our Frontier droplets as far as i know, but then we have many more MacPerl droplets on the NT server than we do Frontier and so perhaps Frontier just has less chances. We're running NT Server 3.51sp5 and MacPerl 5.1.3r2. Ben ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
