First, let me say that I think this was caused by myself more than macPerl. :-) Ok - that out of the way, what happened was that I had macPerl up and running, FreePPP, VIM, and BBEdit. I was working on a program to go through a web site like a robot. I would run the program, see an error in my coding (it was going outside of the site) and I would use the Command-period (Cp) to stop the program. This seemed to work ok for the first three or four times. Then I got some aborts into what looked like the GET function from the libnet stuff. After a few more times (like three or four) the Mac crashed. All of the aborts were during the middle of a file transmission. So probably I just mucked up something when I attempted to kill off the program via the Cp key combination. But I just thought I'd post. :-) ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
