And I will go further that than that. I'm also a Perl/MacPerl newbie. I like MacPerl a lot, but, on the other side, I find it extremely difficult to use it with dialogs, calls to the system and so on. I'm sure its because of my lack of knowledge in Perl/MacPerl, but I think I rather use, for example, the built-in tcp verbs in Frontier than the ones provided by MacPerl.
