Yes, but a complete self-contained application could be an advantage, IMO. A solution with HyperCard would still require some scripting being done in HyperTalk, which would (again IMO) not be as elegant as a pure Perl solution. I hope to find some time soon to create Perl program with a Mac-interface using MacPerl; currently I'm busy working on our Unix-server.
