I actually tried this earlier under OS 7.6 and MacPerl (v5.2.0r4) launched without any document window... in other words, it didn't work. It goes through the motions, asks me for a new file name, creates a new file on the desktop, then nothing - MacPerl just sits there with no window... Just as a test, to insure that it wasn't something else broken, I tried creating Stationary files for Alpha, Word, Excel, and SimpleText. They all behaved as I expected. So my question for Rene' is this: what OS and MacPerl versions are you running such that it works for you? jay ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
