I still don't think I understand what you're attempting.  It sounds as
if you want to execute unix-centric scripts residing on a unix box, from
a mac.  

This is commonly done with a telnet session.  Several fine Mac telnet
clients are available, including NiftyTelnet and BetterTelnet.  It would
be silly, though probably achievable, to write a telnet client in perl.
