I know that they say that Apple Events did not get changed really, but
something else is contributing to faster event processing.  Maybe the rest
of the OS being faster and consuming fewer resources allows the events to
be processed more quickly.  Maybe the Finder responds more quickly to the
events or something.  I dunno, I just know it is noticably faster.
