Hi all, First question. Could someone tell what would happen if an AppleEvent is not consumed? One possible situation is this. MacPerl sends an AppleEvent with kAENoReply but without an event handler to a target app, expecting nothing comes back. For whatever the reason, if the target app sends back an event back to MacPerl, the particular event will never be removed from the event queue. Am I right? Does this lead to system wide problems? Or is the event removed by MacPerl no matter how it is handled in script space? Second What would happen if I failed to dispose created and/or received descriptors? Just an application (MacPerl) level memory leak or does it become system level leak? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
