Speaking for PTF, we have no problem with any of the (Mk)Linux(PPC) distributions. After all, the MkLinux distribution is already on the net and always has been; why would we object to a(nother) CD version? Meanwhile, more MkLinux users means more prospective customers for our MkLinux product (a book and two CDs, one of which contains the DR3 distribution). So, we welcome their efforts! -r P.S. You may find this relevant: I have worked with HyperLib (a Japanese magazine), helping them to put a copy of MkLinux in one of their issues. I am now working with MacTech on the idea of putting MacPerl onto the MacTech CD-ROM. Call me crazy if you like, but I think this will all help PTF and the Open Source movement, over time... -- Rich Morin: rdm@cfcl.com, +1 650-873-7841, http://www.ptf.com/~rdm Prime Time Freeware: info@ptf.com, +1 408-433-9662, http://www.ptf.com MacPerl: http://www.ptf.com/macperl, http://www.ptf.com/ptf/products/MPPE MkLinux: http://www.mklinux.apple.com, http://www.ptf.com/ptf/products/MKLP ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
