Hello, After perusing CPAN, I was not able to locate 2 scripts that I want to use on my site. The first one is the traditional "counter" script, and the second is a web log script (that usually a server will provide). I don't have a direct access to the server, since I'm only renting a space from my ISP which is running Apache 1.2.x. So before I try to roll my own version, does anyone know where I can find that kind of beast that will work in this context (no access to Apache config and the main cgi-bin). BTW, what are the recommended books on Perl CGIs beside the ones from L. Stein on CGI.pm, the other from Gundavaram titled "CGI Programming" (O'Reilly), and the chapters on that topic in the Llama and Ram books? Thanks.
