You can read the documentation that comes with MacPerl.  In
particular, I believe if you pull down the Help menu, you'll find an
entry called "MacPerl Specifics" or something similar (I'm not running
MacOS at the moment).  That will tell you how paths work under MacOS.
If you can't find that, start up Shuck, and point it at the file
:pod:macperl.pod in the MacPerl folder.
