I don't know about Net::Finger.  Net::Whois was recently fixed, but remains
broken on MacPerl.  I sent in a patch to Chip, and it has not yet made it
into a new version.  I will put up a new version online in the next few
days, and link to it from the MacPerl Module Porters page.
