If you're sending mail to mailing lists, you *will* have mail that can't get through for one reason or another. You will also have to handle bounces. You'll wind up writing an entire SMTP server (think queue management, retry schemes, etc.) in Perl to handle all the details. By far the easiest thing to do will be to find an SMTP server that runs under MacOS and direct the mail to that somehow. ----- Paul J.
