Note that there is a rewrite project going on which will result in 
Majordomo 2.0.  I have it on (reasonably) reliable authority that the 
rewrite is modular.  And Perl5 compliant.

I don't know the ETA, but perhaps Majordomo 2.0 would be the one to port?

(I also don't know how desperate Brian is ;-)
