Save a script in BBEdit and then switch to MacPerl. -- modified 5:02
Make changes there and save them. -------------------- modified 5:03
Close the MacPerl document.
Close the BBEdit document. --------------------------- modified 5:04
Open the MacPerl document.
 -- The changes made in MacPerl are gone!

BBEdit changes the document on disk with what it thinks the document 
should be, without warning.

Usually BBEdit prompts you to save changes.
