[MacPerl] kill mount@startup

ok... not *exactly* a macperl question, but here goes:

Assume that you've inherited a mac on a network (new job
most likely) and that mac tries to mount some appleshare
volumes every time you restart. You don't have the password
the previous user had, so you can't enter that password to
then un-check "mount at startup".

So, you have to repeatedly hit escape everytime you restart.

Annoying.

Assume that you're in a very large networked environment
where lots of folks have this problem.

Could you write a macperl script to fix the problem? ...a
script which could be saved as a runtime and made available
to relieve the suffering of all your fellow employees?

I don't even know how to elegently get around this problem
w/o scripting!

Anyone know a scripted or even non-scripted way to work
around this?
