I looked down this road a couple of weeks ago. The reason it is "Not
Applicable" has to do with how SQL*Net is implemented on the Mac, and
how DBD:Oracle does it's installation.  DBD::Oracle has to do some
things at install time that don't really work on the Mac. I didn't get
too far after wading through the makefile.

There is a DBD::ODBC module that I might take a look at and might be
useful to the original poster, if he wants to go down that road.
