Now may be a good time to mention Sean Burke's Mac::FileSpec::Unixish,
which translates paths between Mac and Unix representations.

Actually, now that I think of it, maybe it only does Mac -> Unix.  Hrm.
Well, you can look at it yourselves.  :)
