[semi-off] hard core vs hard shell; PerlTk+Mac? (was [MacPerl] Introduction)

I occasionally resemble that remark. Perhaps I'm a hard _shelled_ geek
with a nougat-y center.

Seriously, as a mostly computer-oriented person in a field (molecular
biology) of mostly barely functionally literate computer users, I'm
constantly reminded of how different backgrounds influence the way
people's minds process information, especially when the people are
trying to pick up _new_ information.

The painter analogy, BTW, was wonderful.

ObPerl;ObMacPerl:
Does anyone know if PerlTk runs under MacPerl? I'm dinking around with
writing a PerlTk GUI front end for Genpage, a HTML preprocessor, and I'm
wondering if I need to worry about munging file paths.
