Nope. It's called a malapropism. Unintentionally, it's a thinko, not a
typo. Done intentionally for effect, as in this case, it's particularly
devious word play. One could also say "I represent that remark." This
particular one dates from, ghad... which Marx Bros. movie was it? Well,
anyway I think Grocho did it first. Word play doesn't translate well (or
at all in some cases). I'm trying to remember where the "Frank and
Ernest" website is (syndicated Sunday Comic Strip, ocassionally features
"Malaprop Man"). If English is a second language, you can go there and
just BOGGLE. It will make no sense at all to you.

they use Perl! Don't yah just love my ability to be both on-topic and
off-topic all at once?

Pushing this back to Perl/Tk, although there's no DIRECT implementation
(i.e. You can't really do on the Mac what you plan to do in Unix Perl),
I do recall a discussion in this self-same forum, concerning WishPerl,
which is a round-about way of achieving the same thing. Much more recent
than Matthias' 1996 post, at any rate. Look in the MacPerl archives for
"WishPerl," but be warned this isn't EXACTLY a solution, just similar
functionality.
