I know I'm going to be putting my hand into a wasps nest but: is anybody else getting fed up with having to try and remember what mailing list deals with what and having to set up an entire addressbook just so I can post to the MacPerl sub groups? This whole splinter process seems to be a manifestation of either "a love afair with the options given by technology aka "I've got a listmail and I'm going to use it" - no digs at Vicky intended) or "why should I pay to download something I'm not interested in?" If it's the former then : Is it not possible to use (or modify) Greg Bacon's posting analiser script (from CLPM) to scan emails and insert a key word into the subject line, instead of us having to do all this manually If it's the latter: why not set up a single separate moderated list and a single separate unmoderated list, before we start seeing seperate lists for [MacPerl]g3 users, [MacPerl] sort of want to talk about Linux but ther's only the Unix listing to go on, and as the growing combinations will soon merit their own protocol ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org
