I bought a source license for nShell before it was released as freeware, and found the following: nShell pros: fast, extensible(write your own commands), open source, scriptable, droplets available nShell cons: nonstandard APIs(compared to *NIX) MacShell pros: fast, well integrated, robust, standard APIs MacShell cons: not as far along the development curve at the time I ended up using nShell because I liked being able to hack the source into submission, change the path separator "transparently", and write powerful scripts and droplets. I used it a lot until I learned MacPerl. :-) ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org
