In Windows Minesweeper, when you mark a mine its button doesn't "depress." The button changes to a "bomb" face instead of a blank one, but stays up. For me, that makes it easier to see what still needs to be done. Having different colored numbers isn't all that important, as far as I'm concerned, but maybe having the numbered squares have a slightly different background color (pastel green or something non-intrusive) might be helpful, and give the game just a bit of variety. I guess my meta-comment is that the "face" of the game underneath the buttons just looks really "gray." -- Creede > -----Original Message----- > From: kpreid@ibm.net [mailto:kpreid@ibm.net] > Sent: Wednesday, August 25, 1999 5:20 AM > To: macperl@macperl.org > Subject: Re: [MacPerl] YourMines > > > > Oh, while I'm here, would it be possible (silly me, I'm > sure it would be > > possible) to give the numbers and/or paragraph signs non-white > > backgrounds?
