Talk about straining to stay on topic!  Sheesh! miniperl?

Really though, I'm not too thrilled about the concept of making MacPerl yell like Tarzan.  Maybe sing the "Dies Irae" from Mozart's Requiem...  or Perhaps play Camille Saint-Saëns' "Dans Macabré."

What David really needs is a custom voice specifically made for singing.  None of the built-ins really handle it well.  The commercial product I mentioned in a previous post uses it's own speech models, which is probably beyond your average MacPerl programmer (and would have to be done in C, regardless).  I do believe that Apple has documented the format, however.
