I'm a bit new to MacPerl... I use BBedit on a separate machine from the WebStar server (os8.6) to edit my source files, then export directly to the server as .acgi. Even with setCGImins.dp or adjusting the time resource with ResEdit, development is frustrating. Once tested and edited, I have to either wait one minute for the CGI to quit, or I have to roll my chair over to the server and click the quit button in order to re-export. This isn't a problem so much once a CGI app is developed, but what a pain during development and testing! While the CGI is running on the server, if I try to export on top of it I get a MacOS error (-47) because the file is in-use. I don't mind that the CGI automatically quits after a period of time... but is there anything I can do so I can re-export a script that is running? (aside from exporting it with a different filename) Any help will be greatly appreciated. - Ryan Stanley Alaska Media # ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? # ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org
