Cmd-. works, but only if it catches MacPerl in a certain place.  Some
scripts may not be in the state long enough to be caught by Cmd-.  Yes, it
would be nice if this were fixed.  It is also a major problem for sending
Apple events, where Cmd-. really doesn't work at all while MacPerl is
waiting to receive an event reply.
