Try deleting the MacPerl preferences. I assure you, it does work, unless
you have 1. bad preferences 2. a broken install 3. a broken installer. If
deleting the preferences does not work, try getting a new installer.
Perhaps you have more than one installation, or perhaps you installed the
wrong thing. What did you install, exactly?
