My preliminary investigation shows that you can use Mason in batch mode to
generate static pages from templates, hopefully using MacPerl.  I don't see
any way around the mod_perl thing as the pages are intercepted by Apache
and I'm not sure that the Mac servers operate that way.  I will report more
later.
