OS X Server (and I must admit I don't have 1.2 yet) comes with plain old Perl, not MacPerl at all. It should be possible to run MacPerl in MacOS.app (Classic/bluebox/your name of choice), but there'd be no reason to. You should be able, with very little difficulty, to upgrade whatever version comes with 1.2 (1.0 ships with perl 5.005_02 (or possibly the 1.02 update installs that version.) to the current stable release. There is ongoing work to create a version of MacPerl that will run under OS X, last I knew. I'm sort of looking forward to that, particularly to working with Mac::Glue in an OS X environment. -Jeff Lowrey # ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? # ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org
