Outlook will only execute a compiled applescript, and nothing else. I believe that it uses the same function as executing a script from the script menu. With varying effort you could have an applescript that interacts a macperl runtime, having the runtime do all the work. I would say such an endeavor ranges from difficult to hair-pulling, and is not for the faint of heart. -K "To argue with a man who has renounced his reason is like giving medicine to the dead." - Thomas Paine > From: René Laterveer <laterveer@mac.com> > Date: Sun, 02 Apr 2000 18:36:47 +0200 > To: <macperl@macperl.org> > Subject: [MacPerl] MacPerl as a Outlook Express Rule > > Hi List, > > In Outlook Express you can set up a mail rule to run an applescript. has > anyone used this to munch an incomming message with MacPerl? > Does anybody have any examples? > Thanx, > Rene' > > -- > _______________________________________________________________________ > Rene' Laterveer <mailto:laterveer@mac.com> > > > > # ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? > # ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org > # ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? # ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org
