[MacPerl] Date::Calc compiled library?

Has anyone compiled the library in Date::Calc?  I have a module (HTML
Calendar Month) that calls for Date:Calc.  I'm just a novice at this, so I
figured I'd RTFM, and maybe learn to compile extensions.  Arved's tutorial
on XS modules has a Codewarrior project for Date::Calc 4.2, but 4.3 is
what's up on CPAN (4.2 is nowhere to be found) and I have CW5, which
further complicates matters.  So far I have had no success, and would
appreciate if anyone could point me to the compiled library to use while I
blunder through the learning process.  Thanks!
