PHP and the others look fine to me (I don't know Aestiva), but offer me little, since I just use Perl. >In fact, the client is attracted to the idea they might make minor mods to >the entry/reporting system themselves if they invest in Aestiva or CF. >Which scares me. Note that there are some cool Perl thingys that let you separate code from content and make it easier for clients and bosses to edit things on their own. HTML::Mason is a very popular one these days; there is an article in the latest Perl Journal, just out in the least couple of weeks, that gives an introduction to HTML::Mason. BTW, there is a mailing list on http://macperl.org/ called macperl-webcgi, and another called macperl-anyperl, either of which may be more appropriate for such discussions. -- Chris Nandor | pudge@pobox.com | http://pudge.net/ Andover.Net | chris.nandor@andover.net | http://slashcode.com/ # ===== Want to unsubscribe from this list? # ===== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-request@macperl.org
