The perl info is accurate, but this filesystem complaint is mostly moot, as Mac
OS X is on record supporting UFS as well as HFS+.  Unix weenies will be able to
clutter up their directories with bafflingly similar filenames, and Mac users
(hopefully) won't have to reformat when they upgrade.
