This whole thread ought to have been on <use.perl.org>. Why isn't it?

And when I read these things in the article, I had the impression that I
was reading a five year old article, about a rewrite from Perl4 to
Perl5...

BTW how can they know now, already, that Perl6 will be faster and have
better memory management? Wild claims, I would say.
