[MacPerl] Problem with Mac::Events.

Hi there

I'm writing a bot for Hotline, and when I try to simultaneously use
Mac::Events and Net::Hotline the computer freezes all.  It doesn't
really freeze in a full sense of the word but MacPerl starts
monopolizing the CPU completely, effectively preventing me from doing
anything except force quit.  Anyone know why?  Is this some kind of
compatability problem.....or something?
Leaves me baffled....
