It requires a number of modules that you're going to have to install by hand, but once you're done, I think you'll be amazed at how easy it is to use. I never did any sort of RPC programming before, and I had my first SOAP-capable script up and running in about ten minutes. Good stuff. In particular, I like the SOAP/Apache integration capabilities. I have a couple of Perl/TK scripts running under Win32, and they "talk" with an Apache/mod_perl server running SOAP. SOAP doesn't make it any faster, but SOAP::Lite drastically reduced my development time. -- Carl K.
