Hmm, true; but my personal opinion was that DES in four lines
of Perl was a 'warning shot' so to speak.

I don't really wonder if Larry would mind; I feel
sort of falls under the same lines as-

Should I not a make a hand gun simply because some
stupid parent may leave it around for their three
year old daughter to pick up and possibly shoot themselves?

(mine is only three months, but you get the idea...)

Perl makes it easy to shoot oneself, and easy to
allow others to get shot too (I recall Randal wondering why
people use lines of code they don't understand.)
