Ultimately, (IMHO) two probably isn't enough. >For myself, Perl seems to handle all of my needs, but it is also the only >language I really know (excluding SQL and Informix ACE Report Language). >Would another language be a good idea? Now, there, you see, you know at least three non-human languages. Wait. Perl is almost human. >On a semi-related note, does anyone have any comments on Metroworks >CodeWarrior program? I liked the older versions better. More responsive. The newer versions have some interesting gadgetry, but you really want (must have, since CW 5) a PowerPC on Mac. The newest version has begun to take on a bit of the flavor of MS Visual Stubio. Maybe that's unavoidable when trying to support cross-platform with MS Win(?!)32. But CW is still closer to real C than anything MS will ever produce. Again, IM(not-so)HO. What are the alternatives you are considering, both for language and development system?
