The extensions are both XS and SWIG, although I haven't discussed SWIG yet on the list. The goals (and we're quite close to them) are: (1) a standard set of modified build rules files for building MP extensions under Codewarrior MPW, using the procedure otherwise described in MPPE; (2) project descriptions for building MP extensions using the Codewarrior IDE; (3) documentation (POD and HTML) for the above. In conjunction with Alan Fry I've recently added pure Apple MPW to the list also. We have working extensions built using only what one gets with Apple MPW and MacPerl, and personally I'm really pushing this one because it's free. What would come in very helpful would be a few enthusiastic CFM68K people. Ideally you would be interested in actually building XS extensions, but just testing the odd prebuilt extension would be OK, too. There would be less work involved if you have Codewarrior Pro on hand, as that procedure for CFM68K is already in place, and just needs test-driving. OTOH, if you wanted to use Apple MPW with the SC compiler etc etc, I'd be able to make suggestions, but you'd be in the thick of it from time to time yourself. Thanks in advance for any replies. Arved PS Regular MacPerl porters work would also benefit greatly from CFM68K feedback. Thank you. ==== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ==== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-modules-request@macperl.org ------------------------------ End of macperl-modules-digest V1 #2 *********************************** ==== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ==== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-modules-request@macperl.org
