What does Stuffit Expander and/or SunTar + Gzip have to say about the
archive? I just downloaded the file. GNU tar seems happy enough, and
Archive::Tar can generate a listing of the contents, although I am
running Linux at the moment so I'm not using MacPerl. Are you sure
the file didn't get corrupted when you downloaded it? If Archive::Tar
and/or Compress::Zlib were actually broken on MacOS, we probably would
have heard about it by now, since everything in CPAN is in the form of
.tar.gz.
