Or appears to be. How are you getting it into PAUSE? Which archive(s) are you guys downloading from? Which ftp server is that one running? I downloaded Unicode-Map from ftp.funet.fi when Georg first reported the problem, and it superficially looked OK to me (running Linux). I just downloaded it again (still running Linux), and it looks OK. Archive::Tar extracts it just fine.
