Just so we're on the same sheet of music, you _are_ talking about
Unicode-Map8-bin-1-Mac, right? Not Unicode-Map8 for Unix? This is for *my*
peace of mind... :-)

As far as PAUSE goes, I FTP to ftp://pause.kbx.de/incoming, and then log
in to PAUSE as a user, and do an Add File, just with the radio button
option. I haven't used the HTTP upload feature at all.

I hadn't thought about the server thing at all. In future I'll keep an eye
on what server actually gets connected to when I do a CPAN download. Maybe
there is a sole offender. :-)

I'm certainly not ruling out idiocy on my part, but boy, I KNOW I uploaded
XML-Parser in binary mode, as sure as the Big Guy upstairs made little
green apples. :-)
