All they're telling you, correctly, is that >there's no SIGPIPE in MacPerl. Comment it out if you want. Yes, but in the Net::Cmd that comes with cpan-mac 0.40, that should not ever happen. It looks like that is an old Net::Cmd. >Drag your site_perl folder to the trash. Reinstall *only* cpan-mac. >Whatever you need is in there. Do *not* attempt to install >Bundle::CPAN. You can, if you want, upgrade CPAN.pm itself to 1.51 >("install CPAN"). Well, some people have lots of extra modules. As he has used Mac::Glue, he probably has a lot of glue files in there. I would not recommend just trashing it. However, running the installer from cpan-mac should overwrite the bad files he has in there, overwriting the existing ones. The other option is to make note of modules he has installed separate from cpan-mac (like Mac::Glue) and save them or reinstall them after getting rid of site_perl. --=20 Chris Nandor mailto:pudge@pobox.com http://pudge.net/ %PGPKey =3D ('B76E72AD', [1024, '0824090B CE73CA10 1FF77F13 8180B6B6']) =3D=3D=3D=3D Want to unsubscribe from this list? =3D=3D=3D=3D Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-modules-request@m= acperl.org
