Okay, another q. HTML::Parser makes the assumption in one of its test files that /^error message/ will be valid, whereas MacPerl prepends a "# " to the error msg. This probably isn't unusual. Is this going away in MacPerl 5.6? Seems like there was some talk about making std Perl error msgs the default, and MPW errors an option. Is that so? Is there a std portability patch for this sort of thing, or do I just swallow and accept it? Is it supposed to be okay to check errors this way, or is this deprecated behavior? Thanks to all for putting up with my ignorance and naivete. -- MattLangford ==== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ==== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-porters-request@macperl.org
