Dunno; Brian? >2) What exactly is the deadline? Actually, Vicki and Baiju need to get into the act a bit for the transition. Vicki needs to tell Baiju about the new plan, get buy-in, and find out what kind of lead time Baiju wants on new material. That being said, I can guess a bit. If the new issue needs to be online on the first of the month, Baiju should have the material at least a week before. Given that you want the scribes to help look for problems, you should probably allocate at least a week for your reviewers to look things over and get back to you. So, try to get the "beta" draft to the reviewers by the 15th? >3) What form should the article be in? (Plain Text, Microsoft Word, RTF, HTML, ...) AFAIK, Vicki has been submitting hand-edited HTML. >4) What are the mechanics of submitting it? AFAIK, by email to Baiju. >5) I'd like to have at least one more draft previewed. If this starts to be a problem for anyone, let me know, but IIRC this was part of the basic charter of the list. -r -- Rich Morin: rdm@cfcl.com, +1 650-873-7841, http://www.ptf.com/~rdm Prime Time Freeware: info@ptf.com, +1 408-433-9662, http://www.ptf.com MacPerl: http://www.macperl.com, http://www.ptf.com/ptf/products/MPPE MkLinux: http://www.mklinux.apple.com, http://www.ptf.com/ptf/products/MKLP ==== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ==== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-scribes-request@macperl.org
