Larry-- Here's my version of the table, same as the first, only a little bit worse ;-) As table's go, it's only a little bit crufty and complex, but I think the flat shading beats the default beveled look. I think this can be a sidebar to my BBEdit Filters article, rather than a seperate column of it's own. Thanks for compiling it! Full credit will be given. --B <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <title>Switches in MacPerl</title> <meta name="generator" content="BBEdit 5.1.1"> </head> <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#333333"> <table bgcolor="#333333" width="165" border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" align="right"> <tr> <td bgcolor="cccccc" align="center"><b>Switches in MacPerl</b></td> </tr> <td> <table bgcolor="#ffffff" width="163" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="2"> <tr> <td align="center" colspan="2" width="163"> <b>Same as Perl</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="43" bgcolor="#CCccCC" valign="top" align="left">switch</td> <td width="120" bgcolor="#CCccCC" valign="top" align="left">brief description</td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff" valign="top" align="left">-0 </td> <td bgcolor="#ffffff" valign="top">sets $\ in octal </td> </tr> <tr> <td valign="top" align="left">-a </td> <td valign="top">autosplit with -n or -p </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff" valign="top" align="left">-c </td> <td bgcolor="#ffffff" valign="top">check syntax only </td> </tr> <tr> <td valign="top" align="left">-d </td> <td valign="top">debugger </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff" valign="top" align="left">-D </td> <td bgcolor="#ffffff" valign="top">Set debugging flag mask.
