Are you saving them as CGI scripts? (Not a droplet, not a runtime, 
not plain text,... CGI script).

You need the CGI Script Extension in the MacPerl Extensions folder 
(In the MacPerl distribution folder). Get the one with Taint checking 
from Chris Nandor's pages at http://www.pudge.net/macperl/pcgit.html
