I was talking to my brother yesterday and he mentioned that the university sites that he manages are ditching WWWBoard for several reasons, but the main one is that while trying to figure out what was consuming huge amounts of disk space, he learned that WWWBoard indiscriminately reproduces copies of files attached to posted messages. I'm not sure exactly what triggers this in day to day operation, but he found one 35k attachment that had been replicated 11,000 times since November. That's a pretty remarkable achievement and there's no telling what other Real Life problems Mr. Wright may not have thought about. Use this at your peril.
